Airbox participates in NATO Counter Terrorism training course
Airbox Systems have recently been engaged as a consultancy partner providing technical and tactical SMEs to the NATO MTFA Commander Training Course held at the DFTC Headquarters, Ireland. The course aims to teach NATO commanders about the nature of the threat and how to respond effectively to the risks involved.
In a fast moving, confusing situation such as a terrorist attack, the situational awareness provided by MOSAIC is invaluable. The deployment of MOSAIC removes ambiguity and increases the speed, quality and accessibility of information transfer. Additionally, it gives commanders and front-line personnel the ability to send and access critical information and intelligence instantaneously, anywhere in the operational environment.
Airbox were specifically invited to provide technological expertise to the course, including assisting with delivery of exercises and exploring with delegates how technology can assist with MTFA response as part of a multi-agency operation. The in-house development team at Airbox made several bespoke software modifications in order to support the course, including the ability to use MOSAIC to enhance table top war gaming in order to refine plans prior to operational deployment.
